Were you going to bed really late for the past few nights? |

I seem to be in a recent dry spell lately and I'm not liking it one bit. 2 weeks ago I had 3 lucids in the week, now i'm down to none ... It might be the way i've been going to sleep though. I've been trying to WILD lately or atleast get into some sort of clear-headed state while in bed. I get tired of this after about 15 mins and end up going on my side and falling asleep with very little thoughts going through my head (because i was only focussing on breathing, brushing all thoughts out of my head). Could this lack of thoughts before falling asleep be contributing to my lack of lucids and actually lack of dream recall as well? |

-The more you want something, the less obtainable it becomes.-

That's why then. It's also probably because you're home from school. Changes cause a drop in recall and lucidity. When I did stats for the end of the year I saw a huge drop off in lucid dreams in Sept when I was first coming back to school. |

A change in where you sleep can sometimes increse your chances of getting lucid because you're sleeping lighter, I had a lucid dream last night because I slept in my brother's room. My sugestion for breaking a dry spell is looping a recording of yourself saying things like "You're Dreaming" and playing it while you sleep |
