If you realized you were dreaming, like saying "Wait...this is a dream!", then you were lucid dreaming. Otherwise it's just a dream.

Hmm. Maybe it was some kind of semi lucid dream. Everytime the lucid dream approaches, you feel somehow, that it will come. Often reccurences come and your awareness level increases. Everything becomes more and more vivid, maybe strange, Depands on you. Maybe you had a lucid dream. But it was only low level lucidity. It all depends on how you percieve things. Everyone is different. If you felt somehow, that you are in a dream, it is enough.

      Was this dream cool?

      I don't see everyone's problem with this...

There is no 'semi' lucid dream, because lucid dreams are not defined by the amount of control you have. If you think, say, or realize that you're dreaming, it's a lucid dream, even if you still have no control over your body.

It isn't a lucid dream if you don't realize this.

      My question:
as a secret agent were you aware that you were dreaming?
      Your answer:
i remeber saying in the dream am i a secret agent as i walked down a corridor then i remeber talking to another secret agent who ignored me lol

You didnt have to get cocky VanguardP
Its not being cocky its being frustrated..
Anyways, Seefu is right, dream control and lucid dreaming are different. The reason people get confused is that in most lucid dreams, control comes as a benefit of the lucidity.

The answer is no it wasn't a lucid dream, sorry but you need to know that you are dreaming.

Also no need to get stressed out children. Just calm down! Breathe in...breathe out... ect
