You can do a version of a nose RC without using your hands or even moving atall - just tense the little muscles in the back of your throat like you would if you were trying not to breath through your nose because of a bad smell for example. If you can still breath through your nose when doing this then you are dreaming.

That is probably the best thing to do, the only other thing i can think of is trying to cast spells.
