Falling in love in your dreams?

I had this really weird dream, started out I was in my home town, I actually remember it very well for never writing it down, and thats never happened before. Ok so I am in my home town and its really different, like super different and the first part I remember is I met this cute girl (not super hot but cute) at the mall which isn't the mall I remember, and I ended up like falling in love with her, shes a perfect match, and this sucks cause I wake up and I'm like fuck, my life would be better off with her and right now I'm at a point in my life where I got caught doing drugs, got into numberous fights, diagnosed bipolar, on psycho meds which totally change my personality, and all this other stuff is happening and I was really happy during that dream, I won't tell you guys the rest of it because it doesn't involve her but at the end all I remember is like meeting her family, and talking to them about stuff which I still remember clear as day, like I was trying to buy gym shorts from her little brother and I asked if his dad gave refunds and he said only if you live in phase, and I was like oh the housing development phase. lol... Ok I dunno what you guys think about this, but I know the reasons she was perfect for me was because she was made up in my head, but I hope shes a reocurring dream character, that would at least make my sleeping time alot more enjoyable and tolerable to be in And has this happened to anyone else?

oh, yeah! I did it! fell in love in a dream at least 2-3 times. Girls aren't really hot, but as you said , cute. And they love you, so start to feel affection towareds them. Even got married in a dream once and the marriage dream stretched for hours and hours... Was kinda fun... Bad ending tho...

I've had those dreams a few times. They're really emotionally intense, but always different in some way. It's like each character is a distinct person, even though they all come from the same source. Most of mine are happy, but I more often nowadays I have dreams where there is a sad turn of events; in my last one, we had to part ways and he nearly died afterwards.

This has never really happened to me before, I've become intimate friends with some of my DCs (we still converse to this day)but never love. I don't think its all that strange really though, think about it, though the girl is not real to me, or anyone else on this board, shes real to you, and thats all that matters. And who's to say that you couldn't recreate her in a dream any time you wanted. I dunno, I don't think its really that strange at all.
