Thanks for the technique, I'll try that sometime. |

I learned this method from a friend a few nights ago and have been using it every time I go to sleep. It seems to work quite well for me and I hope others will find it useful as well. |

Free DreamJournal Program ~ Thanks Banhurt
I will also try it. |

Robert Bruce's book is filled with lots of excellent tips and info that is really useful for WILDing as well as projecting.. I still have the E-Book version of it for free if any one wants it.. |
|
I downloaded the book too, and I don't believe most of it, but when I tried the exercise where you try to feel the tip of a pencil scratching circles on your thumb knuckle, I definitely felt exactly what he said I would feel. I'm not going to discount his techniques, even if I think his explanations may be off. |

In dreams of unspeakable joy—of restored friendships; of revived embraces; of love which said it had never died; of faces that had vanished long ago, yet said with smiling lips that they knew nothing of the grave; of pardons implored, and granted with such bursting floods of love, that I was almost glad I had sinned—thus I passed through this wondrous twilight. —George MacDonald

That is a very interesting method. I'm definatly going to come back to this and give it a try when the conditions to lucid dream are right. |

Gonna try this in exactly 10 min... |
|
lately Ive been interested in trying to 'touch' something you imagine as a way to help induce more vivid HIs |
|
Interesting. I'm going to give this a try! |

Staying awake to chase a dream...
I dont see the point in this method at all. WILDS are really easy if done correctly. It sounds to me like you are trying to WILD while going to sleep at night time. Making it all the way through to REM sleep while awake in trance is a huge waste of time and effort... WILD after a WBTB or WILD after you wake up from a dream in the morning (thats when I do it and it gets results easily). You dont want to be wasting time focusing on "awareness" of different parts of your body... you want to be focusing on the Hypnagogic imagarey you see before you, paying close attention to detail until it finally congeals into a dream and you're inside of it. |

not really? although I dont fully understand what you're getting at there. Dream kitten says it resembles "a" WILD method. Not an easy one. When WILD'ing there is absolutely no need to go into a trance. I've tried astral projection and I know the method she's talking about and what goes along with it. So having experienced both I can say WILD (if you do it like i do) is nothing nothing like this. |

Ah yes I see your point there. This is a lucid dreaming forum though... has anyone had success WILDing with this method? just out of curiosity. |

I've had success doing something similar. Picturing two extra hands in front of my eyes, trying to see them, clap them, until they felt real. When the touch and the looks seemed totally real, i was dreaming. |

Not yet! the frequency of my LD's is increasing every week. My goal is to be able to LD every night. |

I understand this is not a typical WILD method. For me, everytime I attempt any sort of method, it seems to keep me awake longer than I would like, with it mostly being unsuccessful. Also keep in mind, I am a newbie at this, so I wouldn't understand the dynamics of how other methods worked. If you can suggest a better way, please do so. This is by no means an "easy" way, just a method I learned. I have yet to learn many methods yet, and honestly, I don't see the real difrence between WILD methods and astral projection methods... and of course, I understand that not everyone believes in astral projection. So far honestly, I have only been successul with DILDs. i've only had 2 WILDS that I can remember and it was achieved through this method. it may not work for everyone. |
|
I started reading Astral Dynamics about 1 week ago. I started off with the stirring motion in the thumb knuckle and almost immediately felt what he said I would. Since, I've tried to do the sponging up through the legs and arms to raise my energy in my sub navel storage area. |
