Very wierd experience with sp (?) PLEASE HELP!

Hey everyone. Ever since learning how to "trick my body into falling asleep" to enter SP (sleep paralysis), this event comes to me naturally. Last night, right before I went to bed, I was sitting in my room in the complete dark listening to binaural and ambient music for sleep relaxation.

I had my eyes closed, and I was pretending that the darkness of my eyes being closed was a room with no gravity. I was floating around, trying to imagine a landscape and me flying through it. Soon, I was meditative, and it was easier to focus on my thoughts. I "zoned off" into another world. After about 30 minutes, I turned off my ipod and tried to go to sleep. Within minutes, I felt a wave of heaviness come over my body, and I felt a presence with me in the bed. Soon, I heard someone whisper my name into my ears. After that, I was hearing all kinds of distorted cries, whispers, yells, laughs, and my ears began ringing even louder.

I started thinking about a dream scene, and I was seeing images from within my eyelids. I started feeling like I was about to fall asleep, as my imagination was becoming crazily vivid- and I felt my body sinking into my bed. Soon enough, I heard a loud, echoing knock on my wall (and of course it as just an hallucination). I wasn't scared- but I was still startled, and I jumped up from my bed. My vision was very blurry, and my hands and legs were numb.

I went to the bathroom, and I felt as if I was sick and my body was too tired and worn out to function right. I felt very off balance and weightless.

When I went into the bathroom, I looked at myself in the mirror to be horrified. I looked much different, sort of like a ghost or a person from a nightmare. My eyes looked much wider, my skin looked red (even thought I knew it really wasn't), and when I looked out my hands they looked thinner and looked somewhat bony... I couldn't describe what I saw...

After about a minute, my vision was back to normal, and I was seeing things for how they really were. However, my senses were much greater, and my body was still kind of "displaced." I went to sleep easily, and I was too tired to focus on LDing.

Did I enter SP? I wasn't paralyzed, but I was still numb and was seeing and hearing noises from my imagination. I could literally feel myself slipping into a dream!

Well, it sounds like you actually went into a dream...lol...you should have done a RC. I'm pretty sure it was a dream.

      No, I wasn't dreaming.

EDIT: I was about to dream I was entering the dream state, but this awareness was broken by an unsettling hallucination... I probably could have jumped into a dream within minutes if it weren't for that noise!

That's kind of what I thought. The first time I tried SP, I only heard voices and the bed shook before I entered the final part of the stage. The hallucinations weren't as real that time, though.
