      Basic Terms and Another Question

When I lucid dream in the dream, for instance, I am sleeping, in the dream, maybe have a few dreams before I suddenly at some point decide I am dreaming and take control, this is called...

And when I wake up in the am for a few seconds, around 7am or so, groggy, turn over to get more comfortable to keep dreaming and I slip into a lucid dream this is called...

I want to complete the monthly task today or tomorrow. In my last lucid this weekend I asked a random DC my dream name. But that was not the task for this month.
Since I have had the most success with the two techniques listed above, does anyone have any suggestions that build upon what I already naturally do? Or should I try something I have never tried before, I am thinking about maybe setting an alarm for 3am and trying to stay up for 10 minutes and then slip back to sleep (hopefully lucid).

Before telling me to search...Yes, I have searched the archives and will continue to do so, just looking for specific feedback.
And experience it as a place to visit and play with reality.

I don't think there is a specific name for what you just described regarding having multiple dreams before becoming lucid. Probably just a DILD (Dream Induced Lucid Dream).

That is called a DEILD (Dream Exit Induced Lucid Dream)

If you have good luck with those methods, you may as well stick with them. You could try practicing techniques to help with dream recall to enhance both of those methods - such as keeping a dream journal or practicing reality checks to help with the DILDs.

I personally hate setting alarms for the middle of the night just to try to LD. You *could* try it, but if it were me I wouldn't bother. Its too much of a pain if you already have methods that work well for you.

I have had some great success using FILD (F = finger) in conjunction with DEILD so you could try that as well.

      I hope that helps

Thank you, that was very helpful. Appreciate it
I don't think I will try the alarm clock thing, I hate my alarm clock anyway and am a very deep sleeper. My husband would wake up as he is a very light sleeper meanwhile I would never ever hear a thing.
