It's time I get back into LDing...

Ok, it's been forever since I've actually tried to have a Lucid Dream...

I really need to get motivated because I'm lazy as hell. Any suggestions for becoming motivated?

I also need to start doing more reality checks. What are some simple checks that I could do during school?

What are some ways that I can get better dream recall? I really do not feel like making a Dream Journal...but listening to lucid mp3s is something I will do. Post me some links to some mp3s?

Now for the big one...the ILD technique...how do I know which one is best for me? Is there some kind of test I could take that would guess at what technique might be best for me?
I don't want to do anything that involves me waking up in the middle of the night, and it has to be something that I can do right before bed. And by right before bed I mean like either before going to bed or doing it then taking a shower and maybe watching some TV...

I would really like to get back into LDing...I must find my Dream Guide.

And on the subject of my DG, someone said that I would have to believe that my DG is there, how I would make myself believe something is there? I'm afaird that all I would do is tell myself that it is there and then hope that its there.

finding your dream guide can be as easy as summoning people. Which is to say, practice...and you will get it. (im working on this)

Motivation is always a weird issue for me... If you dont like what LDing has to offer...then you face difficulty. Lucidity itself however, is your motivatio. What do you want to do in an LD? those endless possibilities ARE your motivation.

Reality checking...my favourite is looking at a digital watch, looking away, and checking back to see if they time has radically changed.

The other most effective RC is to pinch your nose, and try to breath.

As you don't want to get up in the night...id say its essential you keep a dream journal.

If your not motivated enough to just do that...id question how much you want to get lucid.

Ideal technique for someone who doesnt want to get up?
      -dream journalling
      -observation
      -Reality checking
      -autosuggestion.

      maybe combine these techniques.

      3.

      Proper reality checking habits.

---sorry this may not have answered everything.

      goodluck

If you want to improve dream recall you could always tell yourself that you will remember the dreams before you go to sleep, and It's handy to keep a few words that may spark your memory when you wake up. I like to use doing words like run, swim, or freeze.

I havent found my DG yet, I used my last lucid to get my wings.

Thats cool! So far I can change the weather to winter and I can fly. I really just want to meet my DG so badly. I did get to see Lucy in one of my dreams but I didn't get the chance to talk to her because I wasn't lucid
