      Where is the imagination???

Okay so last night in my dream, me and my family drove to the beach at night. This being one of my dream signs, I tell my family "seeyas" because I am going to enjoy a nice night flight over the ocean.

Thats all I wanted to do after a long week, was watch the beautiful moon lit waves as I fly over them.

The ocean ends abruptly and into a city scene in the day. I try to go along with it and have the ocean flood the city. Nothing was happening.

So I close my eyes and imagine the water rising. And in my 'minds eye' I can see the water rising, the bubbles, the gentle waves, and I can even feel the waves of the water surrounding my body.

And then I open my eyes - and the city is the same.

But enough about my dream. What is going on here? I remember a conversation like this on the forum, but I can't seem to find it. In a dream, what is the difference between an image in my minds eye, and the images in my dream???

I felt, while in the dream, that there was a difference. I mean if you were to ask me where the images in my minds eye were, I would say in my head. And if you were to ask me where the images in the dream were, I would say around me!

but does this really make any sense?

I don't have la berges book. does it say anything about this? I imagine in my dreams all the time, its never really occurred to me what irony that is in a dream until recently

Do you think I could have entered the images in my minds eye as a dream entry?

#1- dont close your eyes, its much less effective and you dont learn control with it..
look at what you want to do- now you have some things to help you-
first is ask the dream or even god to help you and do what you want,
next is do something build- like (i dont know how well you control your dreams at all) you can build a spell to do what you want and cast it- this way you stay within the rullings of your dream and not try "fighting" it with your own powers..
and there is a huge diff form mind eyes to subcon cos of the faith you have in your doings AND the desire of the subcon to play along- in time it will..
hell im starting a new thread about this!

hmmm im not sure you understand what I am getting at

Im not asking for advice on how to control my dream. I was simply pointing out the difference in my minds eye and the dream environment.

But I am asking a big question here, because science tells us that dreams take place in our head. And if it takes place in my head, then me the conscious self is in my own head? Then why can't I enter the imagination in my minds eye (which is in my head right?) and have that become an environment?

Unless, science is wrong. And dreams aren't taking place in my head.
