      Hello again everyone

I am back. I haven't been trying to LD very much lately (GCSE exams) but last night I tried and omg it freaked me out. I didn't exactly LD though, but when I was trying I got the falling sensation, some other stuff I can't remember, then suddenly I heard a blood-curdling scream in my ear which made me nearly **** myself. I didn't go to sleep for quite a while ^^ Oh well, I'll keep trying

Welcome back, St. Nick. I hope your next attempt goes better than that. I'm assuming the blood-curdling scream wasn't real.

      It wasn't.

edit - Last night I tried that method where you wake up, then stay very still and you are garanteed to go straight into a lucid dream. Well I tried that and I got that vibrating feeling, but that was it. I stayed still for about a minute and I just had the vibrating feeling, so I gave up and opened my eyes (which was difficult) and did a RC and I was awake. Did I do something wrong?

I don't think you did anything wrong exactly; sometimes it just doesn't work. I don't think anything is guaranteed when it comes to lucid dreaming. Unfortunately.

so I gave up and opened my eyes (which was difficult)
I am not even sure if I was awake now. Do you reckon the fact that it was difficult to open my eyes means that I could have been dreaming that I was trying to get into a LD?

Yes, I guess so. Otherwise I can't imagine why it would be difficult. I'm not sure how you could have changed it; maybe waited until some imagery appeared to try and get in the dream?

I can remember having a state like this. And this state was pretty interesting. Really. It helped me to enter a lucid dream. These sensations are pretty common and they are interesting to explore. Just as the dreamworld itself.

So in that situation I just lie there and wait for a LD? Should I try and picture the scene that I want to enter while I am doing it? I couldn't remember what I was dreaming about just before I woke up so maybe that was it. Oh well, try again tonight
