hey WILDers, i want to try WILDing (i am new to the concept), as i have only ever DILDed. I tried WILDing last night and here was what i did (correct me if i did something wrong): i layed in my bed and closed my eyes. i amigined a beautiful beach and tried to keep it in my mind for like 10-20 min. i experienced no "vibrations" or and vividness. i just ended up getting very VERY bored and just rolled to my side and fell asleep. any techninques that could make this better? |

When i WILD i wake up after having 5-7+ hours sleep. |

oh. i didnt sleep first. i just went through my day, and at around 11 pm i went to bed, trying to WILD. |

WILDs won't work until you are in a REM cycle, in other words, if you try to WILD at 11pm when you go to bed, it won't work. You don't hit your first REM cycle until you have slept for around 90 minutes. Lots of people combinate the WBTB technique with WILD. |

I've Wilded on school nights before (more like mornings), usualy my wilds are more deild like, were I'll wake up for awhile and just lay there in bed thinking then start using my imagenation to get me in the dream, to wild, you either stay very still, or have a very strong sense of imagenation pulling you to the dream, I've spent along time exercising my imagenation, and I'm still not really sure I could use an alarm yet, they wake me up to much, but I've gotten comfterbal with a dream scene before but it still wasn't very strong. |
