You could be forgetting your LDs. Sometimes I don't remember I had an LD until a day later, but those are usually the ones that aren't very significant (IE: All I did was realize I'm in a dream and then wake up). However, I'm pretty sure you would remember an LD if it was so vivid and life-like.
