QUICK!! am i in a lucid dream right now?!?!?

      i think i'm in a lucid dream

i looked at the clock on my VCR earlier and it said 13:52. i looked away and back and it said 13:53.

then my dad phoned telling me he's been fired. i laughed and said "whatever!!" and put the phone down.

but i'm having doubts now. normally the hot girls in my dreams dont mind me having sex with them.

please get back to me ASAP before i try and fly out the window!!

okay looks... if the clock is mesed up but you still have doubts, do a paranormal thing. And you would never ask someone if your in a dream.

Is your clock on military time? 13:52 would then mean 1:52pm. Maybe you set it for military time on accident yesterday afternoon on accident...think so?

(I always keep my watch on 24 hr time just because...)

I suspect you are having a little fun with us , but that's OK, we are friendly dream constructs.

Perform several reality check before trying anything dangerous.

BTW: Moved this to General discussion since it is LD related.

[size=18]Hey wait a minute!!!!!! If this is a lucid dream you are in, then you will never be able to read any of the responses we have sent to you!

      You clever dog you

You cannot read text in a lucid dream! It tends to move around and misbehave too much.

      GOTCHA!

Contrary to what most ppl say, I rarely see text in my dreams, but when I mean to read something it is clear. Certain things may be repeated, but I can see the text just fine. I guess I'm just wierd.

And I never seem to care what time it is in my dreams....so I never check a watch/clock.

The part of the brain responsible for reading is pretty much shut down, that's why weird stuff tends to happen.

I guess I read so much when I'm awake that enough of that part of my brain is still awake when I sleep....yah....I also sit in front of computers all day (doing updates...*gag!*) so I'm always seeing text.

Nope, it is very possible to read in a dream, i have done that, many others have done that too.
And please, don't necropost. Necroposting is considered posting in the very old threads, especially when OP was not online for a good while. Thanks.
