Imagine, the most lucid dream ever. You are fully aware. So aware, in fact, that you almost can't believe you are dreaming, just because of how clear your thought process is. Of course, being the super lucid one you are, you reality check once more, and carefully plan your adventure. And what do you know? This time, you decide to explore space instead of screw that hot chick next door. It seems lucidity pays off. But wait! As you try to fly into the sky, you sink back down! What is happening? No matter how you reason with yourself, you can't seem to get your feet off the ground...
Now imagine a less lucid dream. You figure out that you have more than ten fingers, but you don't have the ability/patience to count them. Instead, you moon jump over the fence to look for that hot chick neighbor to screw. But wait! She's turned into Jessica Alba! You end up sexing her up, up, and away as you mildly remember your original goal of space travel, and end the dream by sexing her up in an antigravity chamber.
Now, which would seem the better dream to you? On the one hand, you have a true awakening, existing in another manner with the entirety of mind at your disposal. I suppose your logic and schemata taints it. On the other hand, you have a more normal-type dream, but with wish-fulfillment.
Which would you prefer and why? Uber-lucid, or uber-control?
Have you found a way to stay uber-lucid, but with uber-control? How do you explain your answer?
