I write alot about this kind of stuff. I actualy just wrote a song the other day about SP. I'm to paranoid to post songs online without a copyright, but I wish people could here some of my stuff. Anyways, I cant think of other songs of hand, but "Forsaken" and "Dark eternal night" by Dream Theater might be linked in with this stuff in some way.
