DGs what's the big deal....

serisously, i have read a lot of stuff about DG's and i wonder what is the point to find them....i guess since i have finally experinced a couple (literally 2) LD's i am now way more intrerested in the subject....anyways what is the point and purpose of DG, and how can they help u...thanks

Some people think your dream guide is your subconscious, and that you can learn more about yourself from one. They aren't really necessary though. I dont bother with them.

Well as your dream guide is meant to be your subconscious, it is believed you can find out a lot more about yourself. I myself have met my DG once and it didn't really do a lot for me eventhough it was brief. I think it is worth finding your DG once or twice just to see if there is anything to find out.

For me, it's just someone fictional to talk to and adventure with. It makes my lucid dreams feel less lonely to be around reoccuring dream characters. For others, they find some spiritual experience or advice. I say, whatever advice you get, you already knew but didn't admit.

I had a 'conversation' with what I think might have been my DG. It was a flying MS Excel logo that was explaining how to have those continous LDs, the ones where your dream is a continuation of last nights. I remember the excitment I felt when it was talking about it however I immediatly forgot about it because I was being chased by Podge and Rodge and used my DG to fend them off
