Hmm, a flattering definition you've got... you must have a fan

I'm surprised at how many natural LDers there are on here, but I suppose that is a much larger proportion than in real life. 37%, that really is a lot.

Yup, I'm a natural lucid dreamer.

I didn't realize I could control them until I read a book, though.

Bet that was cool, finding out a new technique to upgrade the ability you have.

Yeah, I could hardly believe it. It was quite an amazing shock.

I had my first LD before knowing they were possible. When I realized it was a dream, I just KNEW deep down that it was all in my head and that I could control it. It surprises me that people have so many issues with control, but I've never gotten one to last long enough like the first one did, where I had time and I could do everything/anything I wanted. It would be interesting to do a poll on how easily people could control their first lucids.

In my recent ones, I've had more trouble and I think it was due to reading about the trouble people on here have had with control!

      I'm not a natural.

      I don't envy them, though.

I've always had major issues with control, no idea why. I'd have really long lucids, but I never did anything in them, just sort of went with the flow.

When I was really young, and I became lucid, I just used to wake myself up. I don't understand why now, for me it was the natural thing to do.

In the first one, I was in a car with my friend and we were being chased by this woman. I realized it was a dream, and made the car and the woman disappear just by wanting them to be gone. I tried to talk to my friend, who refused that we were in a dream. So I grabbed him by the wrist and we started flying.

Of course, lack of control was in that dream too. I started thinking about a horror movie character because I was telling myself not to think of scary things so they wouldn't show up. Voila, there he was, and I panicked and woke up

I do, although all the effort that I have to make to LD and the infrequency of my lucid dreams make them even more special. I'd still rather be having them every few days with little or no effort.

I'm natural for more than 20 years but not too often. I found dreamviews a couple of weeks ago and knew that it is possible what I was looking for, so I'm trying to get LD's more frequently but nothing by now, although there were a lot of signs inside, I didn't realize as well!! I know I'm getting closer, and then... may be I will start a dream Journal...
      regards

before i knew what lucid dreaming was, i would have them like once every 7-10 days. i did not even use RCs i just knew i was dreaming. but all i would do was go for the bootay (pope did not like this). then one day someone told me that it was called lucid dreaming. so i googled it, found this, and a few days later i joined. since then with WILDs i have close to 1 LD a night. and now i do cooler things with them. does that make me a natural? but this threads definition, i guess so.

I'm a natural. I still make no effort to LD and I get them once a week or more. If I try I can usually get one every other day at the minimum.

For all of you who have LDs without even trying, or who can drastically increase the frequency with minimal effort... how good is your control? Could you describe your typical LD, so we can get an idea of the skill level that goes along with naturally-induced lucid dreams?

My control is as good as I need it to be. As for typical LD, I usually take a long walk. Maybe fly for a while. Just see the sights. If I have a certain dreaming goal I will work on that. I am also highly in tune with my subconscious when LDing, so if I feel that I must do something than I do that. It's hard to explain. I rarely do any active control anymore (e.g. blowing things up, killing DCs) instead I just do what I feel like doing. Now that I'm thinking about it I need some new dream goals. . .

I think I am sort of a natural lucid dreamer. I had lucid dreams ever since I can remember and I had them pretty often.

I'd say I'm a natural lucid dreamer ... but that doesn't include the control part (which i need to work something out to achieve)

I think I'm a natural lucid dreamer, in terms of I lucid dreamed when I was younger and randomly without the prior habit of reality checks or induction techniques.

Doesn't mean I'm any good at LDing in general though, lol.

I think the "natural" way to lucid dream is Dream Induced Lucid Dreams, though, I deem everything natural as long as it's not a drug or visual/audio outside influence (dream masks, etc) - as long as you can achieve it with your own mind without added substances or direct outside influences, I think it is defined as natural.

Hey, you shouldn't be so angry. By your signature saying you have 11 LDs you should be happy, some people can't get one!

Im not angry im just jealous, its just too cool to be able to have them every night, of course 11 LD's isnt much. I've been lucid dreaming for 5 months now? 11 lucids in 5 months is way below my target not to mention they've been only minutes long. i need to try harder if I'm going to get good at this.
