I would recommend reading up some of the tutorials, all of your questions are usually answered several times within every post <_<. A wild is usually not something that you can accomplish unless you know what you are doing, I'll answer your questions quick but I would suggest reading almost everything in the tutorials section |

for me wilding is easiest after 5 hours of sleep. for whatever reason I have never felt sp. I pretty much use the wild method I h&te reality described. I just try to imagine myself navigating and examining objects in a familiar setting until one of the objects appears real then I focus on it and I enter the dream. I usually only attempt to wild for a minute and if it doesn't work I go back to sleep and try to dild until I wake up again and try to wild again. once I wake up from a lucid no matter how it was induced I always try to wild right back into it by reimagining the same scene. |

yes Ktalu....WILD is catagorised as a WBTB (wake-back-to-bed technique). Basically, a method that you do after approximately 5-6 hours sleep (although this may differ person to person). THis works because...about 5/6 hours into sleep you will experience your most vivid and lengthy dreams. |

Maybe you would be interested why is it performed whild WBTB most of the time. I had several experiences with falling asleep in WBTB and they are different. Body responds in different way, i virtually feel it falling asleep. When you fall asleep in the evening your body feels relaxing, but still the feeling is different. The SP doesnt come as easily. Your mind is still on and you have to calm it down first. Even when it is calmed down its still pretty active and listens for percepcions from outer world. When you are in the middle of night your senses are oriented into internal world and they are not as easily distracted with external stimulation. Even you dont feel the urge to feel your body, to hear sounds, to see images from the outside in the middle of the night. |
