      Your opinion of Naturals

Often I have been looked down apon for the fact that I'm a natural I would like to get your opinion on naturals.
      Thanks mrmike2
I have to say that Lucid Dreaming is the best thing in the world because it's free Common sense tells us that the things of the earth exist only a little, and that true reality is only in dreams. -Charles Baudelaire

I'm a W.I.L.D. guy most of the time.

What is a natural? Someone good at it or someone who has been able to do it without trying?

when I was a kid, I could consciously control my dreams, but I never knew I was dreaming, so I have no problem with naturals. I kinda envy them. I wish I could have an LD without even trying.

It's a double edge sword. It's really hard for me to explain to others how I do it, or how they can do it. My dreaming has no technique to it.
Imagine being a self-taught guitarist who doesn't read notes and trying to explain music theory to someone.

That's a great way do describe it. It's just like me. I play piano, but when people ask me to tell them notes on a piece of music, I tell them I can't read it, and that I play by ear.

I think they are pretty lucky to be able to do it.

I haven't been able to have a lucid dream in years. Ever since I combated that shark off that mattress in the middle of the Pacific Ocean...

I used to have an astral projection & lucid dreams since I was 6. And I still remember my adventures in the astral realm clearly but I tend to forget lucid dreams.

I think I envy naturals, but yet again they don't get the random dreams that can sometimes be absolutely amazing. I've had so many normal dreams that I'll never forget just because they were so astonishing and mysterious.

I think it would be better to have lucid dreams when you choose to be honest, because normal dreams are good fun too.

I'll go and assume anything above the blue line means "natural" itself

Great chart, may I say ^^

The thing is, some naturals don't even care or know that they are lucid dreaming, so the talent is wasted. I want to lucid dream, but I simply don't have the natural ability.

I don't think I would want to have the natural ability because if I did then I wouldn't think that much of it, so lucid dreaming wouldn't be that special. But since I have to work to lucid dream then the reward becomes so much more worth it.

Very true. I had no idea that I was doing something out of the ordinary until someone told me. I was 19 at that time. I can't imagine how many opportunities I must have wasted to really explore my dreams.

ive had lds naturally since i was about 8 or 9. not sure what you mean by looked down on, no one ever gave me that impression. ive been telling people about my natural lds for more than 12 years and ive gotten lots of responses but ive never felt looked down on.
