My Lucid Dreams are a bit... odd...

When I have lucid dreams, I always feel weird and do weird things, and just the whole aura about the thing is strange, and some things are just different every time.

The first few I ever had were WILD's. They only lasted a few seconds as a kept waking up, but I'd go right back in to one after falling asleep again. The first one ever was rather vivid. I realized I was dreaming, I was standing in the street in front of my house. I looked down the street, had a sudden urge to fly, and I started rushing down the street without feeling my body make any movements, but I felt like I was moving. What I saw was rather odd. If you've played Final Fantasy X, near the beginning, Tidus gets sucked up into this thing called "Sin," and the game gets a close up of his face while he's screaming, and the edges of the screen are sort of getting sucked away and being replaced by whiteness. This is what it was like. I was flying directly at some leaves that the sun was shining through with the edges of my vision doing this. I awoke shortly after.

After this dream, I was excited, and attempted to have another lucid dream. I was successful, and found myself at a table with some fellow students. Noticing their darker skin color, I got highly excited and started exercising my dream-land influence by shouting a very offensive word (for them, at least) at them. This is odd because I'm usually not so juvenile as to even consider doing something like that.

I had one today, as well (well, last night; my sleep schedule is boned, so going to sleep at 10pm was like taking an afternoon nap). I couldn't see anything, except a few times when an image just sorta "broke the surface" of this... blackness... I could still do things and sorta feel things, but the images weren't constant. The first thing I did when I got in the dream was get really angry and start throwing things at people. Stuff like chairs, desks, things like that. I guess you could say it was like a very intense day-dream. I won't say some of the other things that went on but overall, I was very angry and wasn't too pleasant with anyone. I knew I was dreaming, and was controlling my actions within the dream, but not the setting.

What was up with the blackness? And why do I get all irrational/angry/juvenile in these lucid dreams?

When we dream we lose a bit of our logical abilities. This is persistant in low level lucidity. Sometimes you may do things in dreams that you didn't really want to do, or simply forget what you wanted to do.
