      2 Seperate Worlds

Im posting this because i was tripped out by what happened this morning.

Is it possible that when we sleep, we play out another life in our Subconsciousness? and whilst we arent sleeping living normal life, our subconscious life continues on?

Most of my dreams for the past few weeks have some involvement with school, almost in the exact same environment all the time, but different things are going on during that time. An example is lastnight i went to sleep at 11pm, and woke up at 3 and remember being outside having lunch with friends, then i went back to bed, woke up at 7 and slept for half an hour and was then in class answering questions for the teacher.

Now i woke up again from that dream thinking it was still the time back in my subconscious state (around 3:00pm) until i realized i had to sprint down to the bus stop to catch the bus because reality wise it was 7:45am.

Share your thoughts, tell me what you think, etc.

Well, I reckon school's involved in your everyday 'conscious' life too right? It's not weird for you to dream a series of dreams concerning the same location or setting. In fact, this is fairly normal. For example, I tend to dream a lot about my workplace (and school too), just because that's a regular place in my 'conscious' life. Nothing weird ^_^.

      Just my 2 cents,

      / Stenny

As stenny said, it is fairly normal to dream a series of dreams about things you do commonly in life.

However, some people will argue that in dreams we can access other layers of reality and interact with the people there, etc... Look in the "beyond dreaming" forum for this sort of thing.

I was sort of thinking that was going on, but you're right, it wouldn't be all that weird to be dreaming about something im around all the time.

Thanks for clearing that up, but i wouldn't mind some other thoughts from people.
