      Lucid Roleplaying? :0 (Insane/Silly)

(This is just thinking, when looking at it, I think it looks too hard to do, actually :p)

I just had an idea some time ago. But this is only for the people really skilled in lucid dreams. Anyone else (me included) might have a good time reading the stories afterwards.

What I was thinking, was if anyone ever tried to Roleplay, using Lucid Dreams?

A game master would make up the world, a few characters and the start of the storyline. The dreamers will make up their own character, that fits the world. (The character would be 'played' by the dreamer.) He/she would then get this story, enviroment and characters built into their head - And the next time they become lucid, they would enter this world and let the plot move.

When waking up, the dream would be written and the roleplay updated.
That could make interesting fights, and umm... Interesting dialogue.

If a few people joined one, it would be a true way of Dream Sharing, the other peoples characters would be there. Ofcourse, when King <Whatever> says he wants to put a piece of meat into a ketchup bottle, it could be edited to be more realistic to the story.

Now keep in mind I've never had a lucid dream yet.
I know that you can make an enviroment up, using that course Paradiso. Similar practices could be used to put up the world for one of these.

It would really be interesting to read how a fight someone had. Let's say dreamer 1s character is extremely fast but not too strong, and the other one insanely strong but slow.
I realize that if it's lucid, one would just be able to slaughter the others, but if you expect them to be fast and able to get away.

Actually, I think this is similar to the Dream Walker/Dream Stalker thing. (my belief of it.) That people go "That guys a dream stalker, watch out for him!" Then ofcourse, that character shows up in the dream, and the people expect them to be stronger than average DC's, so it actually becomes a Dream Stalker.

It could be simplyfied into just that, every Lucid Dreamer makes up a character. With name, description of looks and/or drawing and a sheet of their powers. Then other people would randomly meet that character in their dreams. That could turn into some great stories and dream experiences I think!

(Thread has been written while ideas were just comming to me, so it might seem a bit messy. Consider this a brainstorm.)
Now, discuss & add to the ideas! >: D

That sounds awesome, and I like the term you used there, "Game Master".

That is a brilliant idea and I want to steal it, but, it appears to require someone very, very experienced in lucid dreaming.

Indeed... Seeing as how long it can take to get an enviroment into ones head like with Paradiso, this would be very hard. And also remembering how other peoples characters are etc.

But it would really be cool if someone tried it!

Well, here's a thread that is sorta what you explained. I found this a while ago but didn't (still don't ) have the skills to do it.

      Lucid Rage

Well, it would be hard if you planned it all, but it'd be easy if you only thought up the main enemy, yourself of course, and whatever starts the story, like getting sucked through a time portal or something. Then just take whatever the dream throws at you, good or bad. To make this more fun, you shouldn't end the story. He "just barely gets away" every time
What if I told you that I am dreaming right now?
That your whole life is a lie?
That the laws of physics as you know them are incorrect?

Furthermore, what would you do if I told you I'm going to wake up as soon as you finish reading my signature?
