Thread: help me

First off, this post is very difficult to read and understand because of the lack of proper punctuation, capitalization, and all the spelling problems. You don't have to spell perfectly or have perfect grammar, but doing a little better will really increase the number of people who read your posts.

Yes, dreams are often reflections of our fears. One of the things our subconscous mind does is keep track of our wants and fears. Dreams are a way to examine and learn about them.

In my own personal experience when I dream of fleeing from something it is because I am either 1. avoiding some issue in real life that I need to tackle OR 2. frusterated and feeling I have no control over things in my life. If you want to know what running away from something dreams mean in your life examine what is going on in your waking life. What problems, events, fears, etc may have lead to the dream?

The dream of your friend overdosing on some pills and all that (I didn't understand the last part) could have to do with a waking life fear of the consequenses of drug use, or it could be a symbol for something else... There are lots of possibilities.

Disturbing dreams are not uncommon.

Seeker28, please be kind some people have disabilities like dyslexia and cannot help that they do not have perfect spelling and grammar.

I do not think this dream has anything to do with drugs but more or less a fear of loss.

I don't intend to be mean, but I agree with seeker, the post was very difficult to understand, and the last part could use some rephrasing to be more clear. Or I just need my drunk goggles.

I think both of you have never encountered the disability of dyslexia. Luna is dyslexic she mentions it in her introduction post. Posts like yours are rude towards people with her disability. It makes me angry to see things like this. She tries her hardest and all you can do is insult her and talk about her like she is some drunk when all she is doing is attempting to communicate on message boards. The least people could do is have some respect towards people with disorders such as hers. She does try her best. And she is nice and respectful to you. You should give the same back to her.

Luna, I am also dyslexic but don't give up writing and reading in places like these, I guarantee your writing skills will be up to scratch in no time.

Here are a couple of tricks for you.

Always start a sentence with a capital (uppercase) letter and whenever you type i (as in you) within a sentence also make it a capital.

Use the .(dot) at the end of a sentence as I am doing now.

That will get you going grand.
Also, there are a number of plugins for your browser that will spell check as you type like a Microsoft word and underline any incorrectly spelt words. It will correct 90% for you. I use this all the time as my spelling is shit.

Anyway, don't be put off. Learn as you go and good luck.

hi i also cant use grammer very well dont let it bother you. Your dream can mean all sorts mabie ur partner tried drugs lately ? Mabie you fear loseing ur partner or friend it could be any number of things but this should not worrie you i have had dreams were my father had his throat cut remember dreams are not real nore do they come true.

I apologize if I hurt anyone's feelings. I have not read her introduction post and didn't know she has dyslexia. My father has it, as well as many friends, so I am familiar with dyslexia.

When I encouraged her to edit her posts I didn't mean to be rude or judgemental. I simply meant to point out that the post was difficult to read, and that making it more readable would mean that more people would read it (and would be able to give her advice on what the dreams may mean).

Again, I am sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings. I truly did not mean to.
