is this the right thing to do?

For the past couple of days, I've gotten really close to having an LD, like that spider incident... I'm going to try really hard to get one tonight...

I just have to make sure I'm doing this right, Im trying to a DEILD because it seems the easiest:

      - when I go to bed, tell myself to wake up at like 3am-ish... I can do that all the time

-when I wake up, I don't move and visualize/feel what i want my dream to be like, maybe doing an RC in case its a FA

...then I guess i will go to sleepnand start dreaming? And do RCs

is that the right way to do it? If I'm missing anything or if anything is wrong, please tell me...
Thanks, for some reason, I really believe I am getting it first LD tonight

DEILD stands for Dream Exit Initiated Lucid Dream. So not only do you want to wake up, but you want to wake up from a dream. When you wake up from the dream, focus on what happened in the dream prior to waking, and play what happens next in your head (instead of trying to insert your planned dream, go with the plot of your previous dream as if you were super interested in it). Soon, you'll notice that you aren't just imagining what happens next--but you are there! That's how many of my DEILDs begin.

If you don't wake up right after a dream, you can probably make a fairly comfortable WILD attempt out of it (since, by staying calm and still, your body stays in sleep-mode). Just make sure your mind doesn't drift back off.

      ohhhhh, okay...

if I wake up from a dream, just continue the dream in my head, and if I just wake up from randomness, try WILD. Thanks
