      Question Is this normal?

I have as far back as I can remember been able to lucid dream to certain degree.I only two days ago found the full details on lucid dreaming. I've had a vague idea of what it was from mentions in fantasy books since I was 11 but hadn't really made the connection. Being able to do what ever I want in my dreams is part of the reason I've always liked to sleep so much.

Anyways, usually I'm not woken by the dream, or wake up on my own right after a dream. I get woken up by my alarm clock, the dogs barking or someone else being a tad too loud. You know, a loud noise. Is it normal that I'm that I wake up that way after a lucid dream or maybe just a strange coincidence that it happens all the time.

I've only been woken up by a loud noise during a lucid once, and it bugged the crap out of me! Sounds like it's just a really strange coincidence. Maybe you should consider buying some earplugs.

it all sound perfectly fine i don't see anything wrong with the situation... loud noises are meant to wake you up. but i hate it when i get woken up by something annoying when i am about to have an LD so i share your pain.
