Can somebody explain this

The other night I was in a dream... But before I went to bed I was laying on the couch drifting off to sleep and then I kept waking up.. It was almost like my thoughts would turn into dreams, then if anybody in the room talked to me I would think they were part of my dream at first... this has nothing to do with what im going to say, but I dont no if his provoked a lucid dream or not.

Once I went to bed I had a few dreams that night, but then one dream I just all of sudden thought "OMFG LUCID DREAM".. n I was fully in a lucid dream, I remember I was thinking " dont get to excited you could wake up".. n then I started panicking because I found it hard to breath in my dream, then woke up..

MY question is, is it normal for it to be hard to breath during a lucid dream

?

Me either but it was weird breathing under water, but i never thought
for a second i would stop breathing. I would have stayed with your LD to
see what happens because i know my conscious brain would never let
me stop breathing.....if i did, then i could just slap on a breathing
apparatus then. But then youre of danger of always having to do this
every time you ld.....you have to overcome that fear of yours somehow.
Dont be afraid of anything in a LD.....you have managed to create a most
terrifying problem in your LDs! Ive said this before...dont let fear get in
your way in your LD! Control it, relax and enjoy!!
