nothing major like yours. I feel pain sometimes and sometimes not. I remember getting stung by a bee a couple of times and i remember feeling the sting.

Hm..I have a question, I've never gotten stung by a bee, and say in a dream I got stung, What do you think I'd feel? What have you felt if something like being hiot by a car in a dream but that's never happened to you when you are awake?

One time a big spider jumped on my head, and dug it's...umm.. talons into me. I was panicking, and rolling around on the ground trying to get it off. But it didn't hurt. I could feel exactly what it was doing; but it didn't hurt one bit.

And thats not happened to me in real life. =P

I got eaten once (in a dream ) by some kind of dinosaur. I was chasing some guy and he jumped out of a window so I jumped after only to land in a mouth. It’s the only time I can recall an actual feeling of pain in a dream.
As to what happened, well there was a kind of crushing feeling, that hurt, and then the whole thing started again. I was back inside the room of which I jumped out and the guy was just making a run for it out of the window. (I didn’t follow a second time, the dream seemed to end when I got wise)

Yeah it’s a shame logic tends to go out of the window in dreams, I never seem to realize no matter how crazy they can be.

Maybe you'd feel it maybe not, like i said, sometimes you feel pain and sometimes you dont. It just felt like a sharp needle dugged into my skin real hard. I mean it didnt make me fall over in pain, but it did hurt. You'd most likely feel what i felt or something similar because i just told you how it felt and so your mind now will register that feeling into your dream next time you are stung. About the car thing, it's different depending on the person. Like i said, sometimes you feel the pain and sometimes you dont.

-I also remember having a zombies bone lodged into my chest and came out the other end still stuck*didnt feel pain*
-I was shot a LOT of times by automatics*didnt feel pain*
-I was eating numerous times by dinosaurs/sharks*i didnt feel pain, but I DID feel something. I felt like i was being hypnotized into helplessness and perhaps a giving in to death thing*

see what i mean. I dont really know why this happens, but it does to me at least. hope that helped

furthermore, think about flying.

We do not know what it is like to actually fly, but we can sorta imagine what its like, so thats what we get in our dreams.

I've never been eating by dinosuars/sharks so i wouldnt know how it would feel therefore no realitistic feeling? Is that what you are trying to say?

its not 100% realistic, but i think its accurate for simple things like getting bitten by a shark. WEve been bitten by animals (dogs), and a sharkbite would be similar, but far more intense.

For the flying example, i think we can all agree that our perceptions of what it would be like to fly should be fairly accurate for what it would be like to actually fly, especially people who have been hang gliding and shit like that. However, there can be no certainty, because no one can fly in waking life.

It would be a lot harder to figure out what it would be like to actually be a different creature or entity.

Ive read about people here who can be different animals in their dreams. It would be sweet to be like an octopus, with extra limbs and shit. I think our brians would just take all the information they have about octopuses (not octopi i swear), and water, and compile them into a program entitled "being an octopus" or something.
