      No dice...still

I am currently frustrated. (no surprise) I joined this site on July 13th and I've had a total of 2.5 LDs. Now, I'm not blaming the site, but I'm just not sure why I can't seem to induce LDs. My dreams have been playing horrible tricks on me! I'm often questioning what I'm doing in dreams but my thoughts tend to trickle into nothing and I continue with the rest of the dream. Like last night I dreamed that I was driving home to have dinner but then my mom called me on the cell phone and told me that we didn't have enough money to eat at home and that we were going to eat out. I was thinking, What the heck? but nothing came from it.

LDGuy, if you're listening, about a week ago I dremed that I was talking to you face to face. You'd been talking about your latest LD and I was like, "Nope. Still no dice." That's pretty much exactly what I said.

Would you still consider this a step in the right direction if I'm questioning what's going on even if I don't seem to be able to follow up my thoughts? I just need some affirmation that I'm not doing this for nothing. I went out and bought EWLD and I hope that helps, but since I'm at school my quantity of time has gone down. Sorry for the semi-rant. I hope all of you are being successful.

Yeah, being to question things, even if you don't follow through with the thought, is a step in the right direction. Did this dream, by any chance, take place at a tattoo parlor? If not, I had lots of others around that time. Tell me in detail about it on the thread or in a PM if you like. That'll be a big help, thanks in advance.

All I can say is persevere if something worth doing its usually takes time and effort to do and LDing is no exception. If your getting really frustrated it might be worth taking a break for a week, over stressing yourself can sometimes be counter productive.

Not what you want to hear but its my advice all the same. Good luck.

      Thanks for the encouragement.

BTW, LD, it wasn't at a tatoo parlor. It was some kind of reunion (high school?)

My first LD ever was at a high school reunion. Probably a coincidence, but a funny one none the less.
