Thread: Is it possible to exost the mind

Is to possible that by constantly having lucid dreams that the mind wouldn't get any rest? Or would the time when your not dreaming be enough.

I've always wondered that if one could possibly lucid dream every night that it would over come there mind?

It seems to me that the methods used to try to attain lucidity are more of a factor in exhausting your mind(wbtb, dj, etc...).

I really don't know if being aware during your REM cycles is bad for you, but it feels soooo goood

Well, considering there is many naturals outside, it doesn't.

yeah, its your body who needs sleep, not your mind/brain. when your body needs a break he sends signals to your brain, wich makes you tired, so you have to go to bed.

I dont believe it does. You are still lying there sleeping completely even
though you are conscious of dreaming. The only thing is that a person
usually wakes up after a LD, anyway I do, but then i just go back to sleep.
Ive never felt exhausted by an LD though, just the same.

I actually feel better when I ld, and crumby sometimes when I don't. I don't think you can get exhausted. For one, it's impossible (okay, very very unlikely) to have that many ld's in the first place. Second of all, your brain would be creating dreams anyway, so it really wouldn't matter.

It's interesting that LD'ing could actually make you feel better.

It is possible to feel more rested after a night of LDs, but the opposite is also true. As a natural who has more LDs than non-lucid dreams (and often has nights with only LDs) I know. I also know a natural who never has a non-lucid dream. She agrees.

I think the difference lies in how much control you try to exert over the dream. Often working too hard at dream control leaves me tired in the morning.
