"I'll give up dreaming if I don't have to relive this&q

This is pretty long. Really sorry. This is the most scared I have ever been in my life.

So this is my dream. Me and my friend were just chatting at Dairy Queen when this guy walks by. We started to talk about him after he left. Awhile later he started walking back to the Dairy Queen, so I told my friend to be quiet so he doesn't know that we're talking about him.

He looked different when he was walking back though. His face was so altered and scary and he looked possessed. He walked into the Dairy Queen and stood beside me and looked at me.

Then there was this tremendous noise inside my head and I could feel him inside my brain, like he could read my thoughts and have total control of me. I looked at my friend and he had a terrified look on his face, because that guy was inside his brain too. This all happened within a few seconds and then I started freaking out. This guy had total control over me.

I fell over and started to breathe really heavy and really fast. My legs started shaking and I felt like I needed somone to save me. The fear I experienced was so great. So I screamed.

I woke up still screaming. My legs were so hot because I was shaking them and I was breathing incredibly fast.

I then woke up. But I was still incredibly scared. Tears were falling down my face. I was so relieved that I woke up, but I said to myself then, "I would give up dreaming if I don't have to relive this". I was scared to fall back asleep because I thought that he would be waiting for me. I was scared to even WILD because I thought that he existed in reality and was an evil spirit that could control me if I had an OBE.

That's my story, sorry if it bored you. I just needed to tell someone about it. This experience has me scared of exploring the dream world and beyond.
.......Then I think of my youth and of my first love-when the longing of desire was strong. Now I long only for my first longing. What is youth? A dream. What is love? The substance of a dream.

Whoa that sounds so intense. I've had a few really scary dreams too, it sure can put you off sleeping. But for every full on dream I've had a zillion beautiful dreams. Just take comfort in the fact that you do wake up and nothing in the dream realm can hurt your physical body. Well not that i've experience anyway.

      Peace sensi.

Hmm well, I dont want to offend you or anything because you believe in those sort of things, but I think this is one of the biggest risks and dangers of believing in spirits and OBE's, you'll expect them to be real, and you'll mistake anything bad for an evil demon or something, while it could've just been an subconcious manifestation of a hidden emotion or something else that just looked kinda bad that you immediately associated with bad spirits, which they will then become because of your association.

Interesting. So....A question comes from all of this. Can a dream character be an actual spirit and enter your dreams in some strange way? Or is it all your subconcious mind?

Edit: If they cannot, has it been scientifically proven? (I'm not too familiar with the physics behind dreaming).

There is an enormous gap between the paranormal, and actual science. There is no legitimate scientific research to show that spirits even exist.

Faith: Belief that does not rest on logical proof or material evidence.

In my opinion: Its all the subconcious mind.
There's no proof for it to be otherwise... though still, that is my opinion, im not going to get into that discussion now.

      It's all in your head.

I think when you and your friend were talking about this mysterious stranger, in the back of your mind, you were thinking to yourself, "what if somehow he knows we are talking about him". I think your subconscious then fufilled that and made him comeback. You were probably also deep down thinking, "what if he knows we're talking about him and tries to harm me as a result," and your brain just fulfills that.

So the key is to I think have confidence and be in control of your thoughts and fears.

Actually, that's exactly what happened. Wow, you're good. I thought, I hope he can't read my mind cuz some Ring (the movie) shit will start happening.

yep, LucidApple should elaborate on this about his research on doing OBE's and finding out that they are LD's, and his measurements with his EEG machine.

WOW! LucidApple has an EGG machine? Haha, egg.

Evolo, your dream might come under the category of 'night terror'. I've heard of these, and I know someone who had them pretty frequently. I don't know much about them, but I believe that often times, you don't exactly know WHY you're scared, it just happens.

Wow! That is pretty intense...I was in a similar situation myself, about 6 months ago, only I was lucid. Fear overcame me and I was able to do anything about it but try to wake up with all my will. Since then, I haven't had the same experience repeat itself, and hopefully this will be your case too. Hang in there, I am sure everything will be fine...
      If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up
But that's more than I can allow...
