Nope, I've never hit the ground but that's probably because I've never experienced hitting the ground like that in real life...

hmmm...well...the only "falling" i did was when i re-entered a dream and purposely jumped out of the window, but i dont remember hitting the ground....hrm...im not sure if the dream ended or i woke up(i doubt the latter)

Good idea, just jump out of the window why don't you? it could've been worse though, if you thought you were dreaming and you weren't...

How did you re-enter the dream?

Not sure actually, I had a severe nightmare and i realized it was a dream, but i wanted out of the dream ASAP even though i could most likely beat the nightmare. I forced myself to wake up. I tried to go back to sleep(and i was most likely thinking about the dream i had) and then i find myself back in the same dream, but an alternate reality/universe. My friends werent dead and there were no monsters. I was so happy and jumped out of the window(i think i was batman) so i could go see the rest of my friends. Im not sure if i was lucid or not. Probably on some very low level i was, but again, not sure. And i have no idea what made me jump out of the window. I could've been lucid or i just didnt care *shrugs*

It is fun. Sometimes when I have problems flying, I soar a few meters in the air, and fall on my stomach. Then I get up and try it again. Fun stuff.

But use falling as a dreamsign. Very effiecient.
.......Then I think of my youth and of my first love-when the longing of desire was strong. Now I long only for my first longing. What is youth? A dream. What is love? The substance of a dream.

I have had one falling dream when I was 8. Probably the dream I best remember to date.

Edit: I just found out why we dream of falling. Its when your muscles go into relaxation it makes you dream of falling.

I once had a dream in which I was driving a car really fast down the road, but then I hit the curb and for some reason that caused the car to fly up in the air about a hundred feet, spinning wildly. I knew I was going to "die" and the car began its descent. I also woke up right before I hit the ground, but the cool part is that I didn't wake fully and couldn't move around much or see anything. I thought I was dead and in an afterlife, or something, before I fully awakened.

I've never had a falling dream, to tell you the truth, so I can't say I've ever hit the ground. However, I've had numerous flying dreams and if I can friggin LD I can have one again....though I did have one recently about the main character (a guy) and a girl flying on a scooter around a combination of NYC and Portland, OR. Kinda cool. I had a friend once that said that she fell 8 times in one night and jerked awake every time. Her brother thought she was going into a seizure or something.

mm, i had a falling dream once, and i was fully lucid... running as fast as i could down one of those typical dream-like million story new york fire escapes, going fast till i was practically jumping from landing to landing till my bro's voice said, "You know you're gonna fall, right?" and i of course went flying... and as i fell was wondering if i could just wake up, since i knew it was a dream, or if it would hurt when i landed, since i did know it wasn't real... went into some clouds or fog and felt a soft "whumph"... eyes snapped open and i was in my bed, and couldn't move, but this was back when i had a water bed, and it was rippling like something had just been dropped on it... i suspect i had arched my back all the way up then dropped in my sleep, and that caused a falling sensation.

I've had numerous falling dreams and I have experienced a lot of falling in real life. Whenever I hit the ground from an abnormal height my legs turn into like super shock absorbers. I always stick my landing no matter what height but my legs just start absorbing tons of pressure and energy and then I'm good.

Hehe.. me too. But it wasn't any fun - it was recurring nightmare
And not lucid, obviously (otherwise it wouldnt have been a nightmare for me)

When I hit the ground I get a gutwrenching feeling in my stomach and everything turns black. And the dream repeats
