Thread: Every time I move I wake up

Emotionally I actually am pretty neutral. As for remaining still...no I haven't. I shall try this next time I am lucid, thank you for the advice. Although I just thought of something, if I can't move, then I could always just levitate, it's not like I'm swinging my arms around or anything, right?

Heh, that could get boring pretty quickly however. It sounds to me like you are getting lucid in ver light sleep, and when you move your dream body, your real body is responding and waking you up. YMMV, but I think staying still for a while and just taking in sensations (especially visual and tactile) from the dream could immerse you more thoroughly, making it safer to move.

Actually yeah I think I am in a very light sleep because I was only asleep for around half an hour and my dream wasn't very vivid either. Thanks for the advice.

Sometimes in that state I find the best thing to do is to get out of body and levitate as a spirit for a while until a new more stable body forms.

^^^ Yup. Happens to me too.

Sometimes if I get lucid, and I'm not asleep enough (usually in DILDs at the end of dreams), and its a FA, if I try to move, my body in real life tries to move, so I'm pretty much stuck.
