      Lucid Lover?

Hi i am new to the forum and this is my first post so here it goes....

Well i have been having lucid dreams on and off forever i am only 21 but recently i have started to have to very often the last few weeks.

Thing is when i have been having them recently there has been a girl in them lets call her "Lucy" with me she has been in all of them to the point that now when i see her i know i am dreaming its weird.

I will be having a normal dream and then i will see her, she looks the same every time but i cant really remember any conversation i have had with her.
Now the worrying part I'm having them so often that now i actually wanting to go to sleep to be able to do what i want and see her.

I know thats weird but i think about it all the time and i don't even look at my current girlfriend the same because shes not "Lucy" i feel like I'm going mad.

But the thing is i don't want to stop it.

Thanks for reading any responses i would really appreciate.

weirdly cool! maybe use it as a tool to find more out about dreaming? like ask her questions about her world and what happens to here once you wake up? see if she can teach you things? see if she really is just your projection or actually another identity? dont know how but there might be a way.

It'd be interesting if you found out that Lucy was your girlfriend, just with a different look, and in her dream, you're Ricky or something, also with a different look.

The reason you like this "Lucy" so much is that she is just a creation of your subconscious. Your mind has planned out what your "perfect girlfriend" is. It is trying to create a guide for you in what to find in real life. This is all just my opinion of course.

I've had this experience, too. It is both addictivly wonderful and disconcerting at once. My eagerness to fall asleep and be reunited scared me. When my dream lover slowly stopped showing up as often I was angry, but relieved. It became easier for me to deal with when I started to think of the dreams as fantasy and masturbation.
