A MILD is this:
Wake up from a regular dream. Remember the dream, in as much detail as possible. Lay back down, and:
1) With your eyes shut, ready to sleep, repeat a mantra to yourself, telling yourself that next time you are dreaming, you will remember to recognize you are dreaming (via dreamsigns, whatever)
2) While doing #1, imagine the dream you just woke up from. Imagine that you are back in that dream, and that you are seeing dream signs or for whatever other reason realizing that it is a dream. Imagine what you would do, how you'd react, what it would be like, how DCs would react, blah blah blah.
So I'm guessing V-MILD is the inclusion of #2 specifically, with just #1 being a 'MILD'? This seems wrong to me, LaBerge's original MILD uses the whole deal. The whole point of a MILD is to tell yourself to remember to realize that you are dreaming, so it's definitely not a WILD. I honestly don't see why we need to get that specific anyway. People waste too much time worrying about whether or not they were visualizing every single detail, while they neglect to focus on things like memory training that are so critical to a method like MILD.
