      I am Michael Knight!

and I'm new round these parts!

So I would firstly just like to say hello to everyone ...hello!

I (prob like all the other newbies) have just read about LD today and have taken a great interest in it. Already, everyone morning I like to recall my dreams, and have experienced LD implicitily to a limited extent (but didn't really know much about it or that you could control it)

I was just wondering how you guys are progressing with it? such as how much control do you have?

It sounds like you can get totally radical! Can't wait to give it a go tonight!

I myself have been lucid dreaming for about a year now, and I have about 2 a week. right now I'm focusing more on frequency rather than control.

      Welcome to the forum.

Right now I am focuing on wierd things. PEople would say I have a natural ability. I know that is not true. Everyone does. Everyone can take control of thier dreams as much as they want to and try. So just keep at it. Remember that you WILL have a lucid dream every day and it should happen. Now that you have good dream recall you are ready to start lucid dreaming all the time.

I have had lucid dreams since I was a kid. When I focus in them I have about 2 per week. Rather then waking from within a dream, I like to now work on WILDS and enter the dream from the waking state and manipulate hynaptogogic imagery. I feel that gives the dreamer greater control, although I am limited to doing it in the early morning hours.

Hey nice to meet you all!

I think I may have had a lucid dream last night, however it is difficult to tell as I'm not sure how much control I had. I kinda feel that the dream took over and told me I had to move on.

However I do seem to remember waking up each time I became conscious that I was dreaming. Is this common?

very, very common, sometimes it helps to audibly say things...such as: control now, or lucidity now, etc.
