I don't record, since I have excellent memory, and have had a great past week. I'm in a dry spell now though.

It is very likely due to your lack of a dream journal. No matter how good your recall is or your lucid frequencey, there is no good excuse to ever stop recording. Even if it's just a scrap peice of paper beside your bed.

Even Billybob, who had recalled 200 LDs in one year and had approaching a thousand of them, never stopped keeping a DJ!

Well i haven't stopped recording my dreams, i just think it was kinda strange how i can go a week without writing anything down and then out of the blue have my best night of lucid dreaming ever (well there was that one night a while ago i had 4 LDs but they didn't last very long and the quality wasn't good).

I had another one last night and in the middle of it i felt a really weird sensation, like the room that i was in was shaking and convulsing (kinda like a WILD), i was a little bit disconcerted but i think it actually helped me become lucid, i did a reality check right after that and became lucid so if it happens again i'll know i'm dreaming.
