Had 3 LDs last night, this after not recording my dreams for a week.

It would seem, in my case at least, that hard work isn't all it's cracked up to be. I had three LDs last night, probably my best night of lucid dreaming ever and it came after a week of not doing any writing in my dream journal, i also managed what i think was a WILD for the first time in at least 6 months, i seemed to go directly from the vibrations to dreaming and the dream lasted quite a while.

I have had this happen before as well, sometimes if i find myself unable to record my dreams i will find that i have more LDs, i don't know if this is as a result of me not writing in my dream journal or if it's something else but i have definately noticed a trend emerging.

It may have also been those vitamines i started taking again, they've got Choline in them and apparently that is supposed to help you LD.

I guess you're a natural. I HAVE to record my dreams, when I don't I can usually go a few days and be fine, but after 4 days I usually can't remember my dreams at all. However my recall usually comes back quickly.

I'd still record your dreams. There is no reason why the journal could hinder LDing, and even if you don't think that it helps I'd keep one either to help bridge teh gap between conciouss and sub-conciouss thought more or jsut for the fun of having a journal to read back on. That's one of the funner parts of LDing!

you are both right, but I always end up recording what what I felt during the process so it ends up taking pages and pages per dream.

Any advice would be granted, please.

I don't record, since I have excellent memory, and have had a great past week. I'm in a dry spell now though.

It is very likely due to your lack of a dream journal. No matter how good your recall is or your lucid frequencey, there is no good excuse to ever stop recording. Even if it's just a scrap peice of paper beside your bed.

Even Billybob, who had recalled 200 LDs in one year and had approaching a thousand of them, never stopped keeping a DJ!
