In a Lucid Dream Could you...

Hey, Wanted to say that if you have really good controls over your dreams. In a Lucid Dream could you intentionally make the dream storyline go by itself where ever it goes and you just control your self. Or if you once have really good control there is no turning back?... i can't say much here because I never had an Lucid Dream in my like But because if do ever get an Lucid Dream and get good in Control I would also sometimes want the dream to by itself where ever it goes and I just control my self adds a bit of excitment and suspense to the dream. Thanks guys in advance

I don't really understand your question but I think you mean being able to let everything be as it is in the dream except yourself? So you can change into anything you want but let the dream scene be?

Yes, it is possible to let the dream storyline contimue along its path without interfering, and just go along for the ride, so to speak. Some of my best lucid dreams have been a result of taking this option. You can still maintain full control of your own actions, but just release (or never grab, depends on how you look at it) the dream to run its course.

For instance, say you were dreaming of a murder mystery in which you were the detective, and you become lucid. It is completely possible to just go along and see the story out, letting the dream follow its own plot, without losing lucidity. It does take some practice not to get distracted and let your lucidity fade, but the use of a few basic techniques will see you through.

Hope you get lucid soon, WhiteWolf!

don't worry if you're concerned about not being entertained in a lucid. many of my lucid dreams are surprising as it is, even with full control.

You don't have to worry. Dream control is something that will be an on-going process. You won't reach a point where you have to force the dream to do something or it won't do anything. It is easy to let go of the control when you want.
