Thread: recall progressing?

I started trying to go lucid 7 days ago and was wondering somethings about my recall.

Befor i started my DJ and recall I was having 0-1 dreams a night, all very short with missing spots, low quality and no control. and i would remember every detail

first couple days of recall were 3-4 dreams a night with high quality, short to medium length and i would remember most detail

past 2 days have been 1-3 very long dreams with so much detail it rivaled real life, however when i wake up its harder to remember every detail like before. also it doesnt help that i dont have enough time to write down all my dreams befor i leave for school

I guess what im saying, is

will my ability to remember all the details return as i continue my recall?

also, does this seem like a natural progression to becoming lucid?

Yeah, I mean, if you're writing down your dreams everyday your recall gets much better.

For example...

When I first started trying to LD, my recall was terrible. After a while of getting in the habit of reminding myself that I was intending to remember my dreams, as well as writing down anything I could remember, even if it was just a feeling - well, it got pretty crazy to say the least. As far as recall goes. Yeah.

Last night was the closest i have had to getting full control

False awakening in my bed and outside my window was a pure golden sky and what appeared to be a perfect utopia. Sadly I was already mid rolling over to get more comfortable and drifted off fast.

Haven't found my utopia. Just several deranged anarchistic ideas of a perfect utopian society.
