I'm no expert but I thought I read somewhere that text isn't stable in dreams. I.E. it will change every time you look away, will be blurry, and what not because some people use that for a RC. |
I've been thinking... I have heard that everything we see, hear or experience in our lives is stored in our subconcious memory; even though we have only limited access to it. |

I know, but I've read text before in dreams, so maybe I'll get lucky. |

I like the idea, but there might be better ways to go about it. Since so many people experience the text issue, maybe another form of access could be used. I was going to say use music and a song you've never heard and check the accuracy of the lyrics, but people often get those pesky electronic failures. I think the most reliable would be to ask a friendly, helpful DC what the page said or what the lyrics were. |

all the texts I have read in dreams are never written with correct grammar. But very to-the-point |
Do it! Sounds really interesting, tough I agree with Shift, it may be difficult to read. |
if it does work- what would you want to find out, or what memory would you want to find? |
i like reading in my dreams, something unexpected is always written. anyway, try it! |
Just a point to add here: if you have no preconceived notion that text is difficult to read in a dream, it is not. It's just one of those things. Expect the text to be easily legible and coherent. Expect it to remain the same when re-read after looking away and back. |
It most likely won't work... |
i dont think it will work, becuase you said that you will see it because dreaming is the subconsious word or something, well that may be true, but lucid dreamings definition is consious dreaming, so im not too sure about it, and also the thing to do with text reading difficulties, but as you said thats not too much of a problem for you. but the main problem is that lucid dreaming is consious |

Insanity is the mind's only effective defense against reality.
sometimes dreams are so good that it hurts to wake up... .
I wouldn't read a fresh page every night. Even if I skim it, it'll be pretty fresh in my memory for an easy conscious recall. If I glanced at it too fast to read anything, I wouldn't really call it part of my experience. Even so, trying to remember a specific book and page number that I just chose to look up would be hard in the dream. |
good luck on your experiment. Just remember. KNOW it will work. doubt will probably result in failure. |

Do not try and bend the spoon--that's impossible. Instead only try and realize the truth...there is no spoon. Then you will see that it is not the spoon that bends
it is only yourself
i like the idea. DEFINITELY POST THE RESULTS! |
