I'm afraid of WILD and LD now...

I had a freaking scary experience two nights ago when WILDing. I started to WILD and I felt vibrations and a wave of energy, then suddenly I opened my eyes and I was in my bed. I did a RC pinching my nose, and I could breath. This is what normally happen to me when I WILD. I just get up and fly through the window, etc... but this time I couldn't get up. It was the same feeling when you can't run in a dream. I could move my arms and my head, but it was extremely hard to get out of my bed.
I looked at the computer and someone was sitting in my chair, using the computer. That thing turned his face to me with a quickly movement and it was the most freaking scary damn clown I've ever seen (I knew this was going to happen some night: I really hate clowns). He told me with a threatening smile: "I have a surprise for you". Then he jumped to my bed and I screamed of terror. Thanks god I woke up.

Last night I didn't want to WILD. I was so scare of this stupid clown. LD's are so amazing, I don't want to quit because of this... but I'm afraid that I will not have the enough courage to face him. What can I do people? This is gonna happen again, for sure.

Yeah man, its your dream, aslong as you know your dreaming, you can look at him, and laugh at him, he cannot hurt you! even if you are dreaming, id see this as a good sign, it means that you have the chance to get over your fears of clowns.

I don't like clowns, but I don't fear them. So try to get another WILD, and if the clown comes back, tell him to piss off. Or kill him.

Yeah, you are god in this world, you can do whatever you like!
Do show fear towards that clown, just spin and spazz out, not in fear but in anger, well actually no, just close your eyes think of something funny happening like him like slipping over on a banana skin and falling out a window.

      Haha...What? I'm not crazy!

I have met a couple of times this things (whatever they are, probably manifestations of our fears and terrors) in my LDs. Indeed, they are emanating some kind of force which either block our abilities or makes movements hard (or both). First time I've seen this thing I was also somewhat scaried. Next time the force was overwhelming (like in your case I barely could move). Well, advice from both psychologist and mystic would be "Be courageous, calm and cool-headed".

I noticed that this things want to induce some strong emotions (fear, for example) or dissipate our lucidity. Probably, the mind have some form of "internal security" which register lucidity as problem and try to solve it. This also can be "competition" between right and left hemispheres of brain: our consciousness maybe one of the left h-sphere's function, so during day left hemisphere rules, but at night it weaken its grip, and when you are trying to control dream with your consciousness, right hemisphere is fighting back by sending this images. It also explains why our abilities is often blocked.

As previous poster said, try to think something funny about it. You also can try to ask him directly what he want.

i had the same thing happen to me, i was laying in bed and my roomates came in, but it felt like they were aliens trying to abduct me. i woke up with a jolt and quickly turned over on my stomach to look at the door. it was closed and i was alone... wat a shitty feeling. i was afraid of sleeping from that point on, but i was too tired so i went to sleep anyway hahaha.

Thanks all for the advices! The next time I'll try to talk with him, if he don't want I'll kick his ass.

Or... don't fear or fight the clown.... be the clown, and torment someone else in your dream.

      Don't be evil.
Based on a recent LD nightmare, I recommend putting a wall of solid stone between you and the clown, and then just ignoring him. He'll eventually go away naturally.

I love DEILD! SP is pwnage!

there have been many cases when someone has some sort of nightmare, and when they win over it it never comes back. even frequently re-occuring ones. so just kick his ass next time you see him. and if he doesnt come back and your worried he could come back any moment, just be some sort of super hero (personaly i would get on an iron man suit) and then shout out loud "come out here you stupid clown" and he should appear then just kill him

Be careful not to try and move too quickly when you go into WILD. Maybe wait 5 seconds in the bed before trying to get up so that your body can be fully asleep. If you try to move too quickly, your real body tries to move too and then you can't move in your dream.

Thank you all! I really appreciate all the answers. Last night I WILDed and the clown didn't bother me, although I was expecting him to appear at any moment.

Yes, maybe this was what happened to me. The next time I'll wait before get out of my bed.
