Smile Lucid Dreamers should enjoy this...

This 3 minute video is a brilliant and very entertaining depiction of a lucid dream. To anyone who has never had a LD, this should give you a good idea of what they feel like why they are so much fun!

Interesing! It'd be neat to print one off in an LD to use.
An easy way to walk through walls and not to mention, I wonder what the dream would simulate is inside the black hole once you completely enter (like at the end of the video)

Isn't it great? It really captures the feel of being in a lucid dream with the dim and eery lighting effect along with the malfunctioning copier and light-switch. I just love this video so much and yeah, I was wondering all the way through if he was gonna stick his head into it :-)

      Funny

But I wonder how many people desire the need for money once they are lucid in their dreams.

I don't. And it sems to be a bit of a humorous fantasy sci video and not, in fact, about an LD, so the money makes sense in context.

And I, for one, would have made my arm longer, or even opened the safe by turning the tumblers within the door lock. Poor guy. Trapped by his own greed and stupidity. That and a bloody thick safe.

Interesting question, I can't recall EVER having any desire for money while being lucid. This is just me, but I can only imagine the most greedy of people having a real desire for money while lucid.

Yeah, it would be pretty pointless to steal money in a LD! But the rest of the video is pretty cool though, like the muted lighting and the light flickering when he turns it on etc. It somehow captures the atmosphere and feeling of a lucid dream pretty well I thought :-)

Its got nothing to do with lucid dreaming, but yeah, its a good short film.

Well if you're lucid, then you should understand that there's no reason to desire dream money, I guess. That'd be like risking robbing a bank for a bunch of Monopoly money. Not worth the effort because it's completely worthless (and in the dream $'s case, nonexistent). Unless you want to cheat at Monopoly. In which case I still think it'd be a waste of effort

Sure, the film is not specifically about LDing, however IMO it has a strong LD flavour to it eg, the device failure with the photocopier and then the classic lightswitch flickering. Also, the lighting is strange and eery, plus of course the obvious feature - that the actor is able to put his arm through an object (another classic RC) and then has fun playing around with this ability. The clock on the wall reads 3 o'clock (obviously 3am).

As we all know, unless you have been in a LD you can't really understand what they FEEL like and how they feel distinctly different to ordinary dreams. You also can't really explain it to anyone. (Imagine trying to explain sight to someone who has been blind since birth.) This video gives a reasonable impression of what it feels like to be in a LD, that's all.

Glad people are enjoying it :-)

actually to tell you the truth
the thing that would perfectly explain a lucid dream to me is
      DREAMQUEENS signature picture
the clarity and the colour contrast
High Defintion tv type of thing
      its awesome

Yeah mine are too, although I did have one once that had really eery muted lighting and was set in a deserted Gothic town. It was great!

I don't think this video attempted to be as surreal and colorful as your dreams.
