Getting to excited.your actually waking up before your about to really dream. You might be trying too hard to catch your lucidness. What I have learn for months now is that luciddreaming is like your body clock that wakes you in the morning. That's why reality checks are important, it helps set the bait as you wait. But as you wait for the big catch just think about a good moment with no expectations.(soon the fish will bite but you must wait a while and have faith that your mind will pull through.) |

Like outerdrake said, you are waking up between REM cycles and attempting to enter your dreams then. Thats a good thing, but you're just getting too excited. Try to stay more calm when this happens, and you should be able to enter into a decent Lucid Dream. As for the headaches, it could be your body trying to force you back to sleep. |

Like bizzle said, it's normal and common to have to learn to not overreact when you have a lucid dream. Most of us had the same problem as you at first |
