was it lucid?
i just had a dream last night that someone like kidnapped my gf and parked somewhere so i decided to box him in and confront him in anger.
i was now afraid of also getting my ass kicked and i actually remembered something in my book written by Stephen LaBerge and he said to approach the subject and be friendly. and so i did and well, he was friendly back. i don't really believe i was actually aware that i was dreaming but i know some part of me new that i was.
i'm thinking maybe semi-lucid? i think if i was fully aware i would have just changed the whole dream.

Sounds more like pre-lucid to me. You knew something was off, but did not test or say "I am dreaming." Work on doing more reality checks
