I'm not so sure if you could get to a point where you have lucid dreams every night but that's just me. Hey, I'd love to have lucid dreams every night. Anyone agree? |

So I've stumbled upon this site a long time ago. I actually was lucid the first second night I read the site. I remember it really clearly still- everything about it. I stopped trying after summer break; when my sleeping schedule was inconsistent. Anyways, I was going to start it up again but I'm really worried about becoming a lucid dreamer. |

If I became lucid every night and I was too lazy to change the scenery or whatever, I'd just go with the current storyline and get lost in it. |

(Sorry about the double post) Everytime I become lucid, it's like a the same feeling as the first time I've ever opened my eyes to the Dream World. It never gets old. Even if I'm not doing anything, I'm juat amazed at how real everything looks and feels. |

Becoming lucid every night makes me always tired like I never sleep. It was really cool at first but I took an unwilling break for awhile. Like Xibran123 said though it's still fun just going along with the random story in your head. Change some scenery and some people and leave it be. Or just expiriment doing a million other things. When you can actually become lucid every other night or better thats when you should post back about becoming "addicted" or scared of LDing everynight (and midday). |

TAKE DV members advice with caution! some have had zero or 1-2 LD's yet act like gurus
TOTAL LD's (almost all DILD/MILD) =160!!
new goals: have more LD's than Shift[X]
10-15min LD [ X] Article: A day in the life of an LD-er
the "Mind V.S. Body" Induction technique
Everyman 2 LD's/ sleep schedule progress
I dont think anyone can become "that" good at LDing to the point of being able to have one every night unwillingly. It might be possible, but I just dont think its very likely. |

Trust me, its so easy to lose your awareness if you dont want it. |

I figure, if you can learn to LD you can unlearn it too. Just read the LD tutorials and do everything backwards. |

As the pattern gets more intricate and subtle,
being swept along is no longer enough.
I would say that if you had the skill to LD every single night you would also have the skill to just let the dream take it's course. But having an LD every night would be alot of fun, imo, but to hear it from some people it probably means that some part of you isn't getting the real rest it needs. It's like letting your body sleep but your mind never does. Don't fear it though. :p Roll with it, and it if it gets to be too much stop your dream recall techniques and stuff and let your awareness fade. |

You don't have to be in control of everything. I've had plenty of lucids where I just let stuff happen. I would only control myself. If you do indeed get to the point where you are always lucid (which is unlikely) then you could always do that. |

Bollocks.
I'd fucking love lucid dreams every night. If you somehow gain them everynight and don't want them, and that is, if you can give them to someone else somehow if it were to be possible (I know, I know, it's not possible), I'll have them! |
|
Actually, you could devote your life to trying to do shared dreams then! It would be nice to see that happen. |

Bollocks.
Dude, I wouldn't bloody object to having them every night. Hell, I wouldn't object to having one! |

I appreciate the replies. I guess I was just looking for someone to tell me that you can be lucid yet still let the dream play out itself. Apparently it's easily feasible. |
