Have anyone been in the labyrinth-like place made of a lot of rooms, elevators and such? I had a dream when I entered such place via subway station.

In my experience underground places are hell. It's very hard to get back to the surface for myself even while lucid. They consists of hundreds of thousands of rooms that all look very similiar and no apparent way of escape. If I am non-lucid it's even worse so much so that it freaks me out. It's like being in a never ending labrynth one with no exit only the initial entrance.

Also I have been trapped in buildings that follow the same pattern. Either way I hate being trapped underground it's absolutely dreadful. That is unless of course it's an actual city with inhabitants, and the likes. If your alone it's absolutley dreadful.

Interesting. That's more and more strengthen a viewpoint that there are a lot of common things in human minds which are projected into dream world. Being a newbie dream cartographer I've read a lot of discussion about common elements of dream maps and labyrinth of many rooms is rather common pattern. It is also recommended to stay away off them as there are nothing really interesting and it tend to dissolve one's lucidity pretty fast, though I can not verify this claim as I was not there in lucid state. Btw, do you have subway in your dreams or any other underground transportation facility?
