      Colour and LD's

In my dreams the colour purple (no not the book the actual colour!) turns up alot. Like I'll look up and the sky will be purple, or I'll look into the bath and the water will be purple. This has become an easy way for me to recognise when I am dreaming. Does this happen to anyone else?

This has never happened to me. You're lucky. That seems like an easy way to become lucid, doing a reality check everytime you see something purple. I don't think I have ever really had a dream sign :/

Awesome. Whenever I get dream Signs they go away after I use them to get lucid once or twice lol.

Never had the colour thing but maybe I haven't though about it.
Actually I did have one where I dreamed about white things. Mainly what I can remember was white horses and my white car. But yeh it went away after getting Lucid off it once.

Kind of off-topic but I've heard some people dream in black and white or otherwise monotone or dull colour. Does anybody get this either?

Oh yeah, forgot to say I don't get it either. I actually doubt anyone does, it doesn't make much sense. Probably the testers saying "focus on whether it is black and white" made the subjects induce that.

It must be nice to have a fairly solid dream sign

I don't usually remember colors in dreams, but I've found that in general some of my dreams have a certain color "overlay," usually brown or red or white. The dream world just seems tinted, though I haven't recalled an overlay for a while. Hmm...

I have had one black and white dream which I can recall. There wasn't anything unusual about it; there simply was no color. As I mentioned earlier, sometimes I get a brown or even rust-colored tone over the dream scene. It's interesting sometimes
