dream journal question

ok, i keep on meaning to start a dream journal, because i know it would really help, and ive still not yet started. i really should have a long time ago. my question is, will i start writing in all my dreams from now on, or shall i write as many previous dreams which i can remember? and does it need to be in really good detail?

Keeping a dream journal is important for several reasons, one of which is is because it tells your subconscious that your dreams are important to you. Another reason is because it will help you see patterns, consistancies, and inconsistancies in your dreams which you can use as dreamsigns. As dreamsigns can frequently change, I don't see it as critical that you right down your previous dreams. Just remember to write down all of the ones you have from now on.

right, got it. thanks. so the next dream i remember (i tend to always remember at least one dream a day anyway, so that will probably be tomorrow) i will write it down, then after school i will make a new thread in dream journals for my dream journal.
