Has anyone ever experienced the freedom of a lucid dream in a real life situation?

I was hitch hiking across the country and ended up in the middle of nowhere, in a bar in a town called Moosejaw. My friend and our ride went off to make some call and were taking a really long time, so I had a few beer. In the time it took me to drink, the dance floor filled up with hundreds of girls and only like 5 guys. Then they removed one of those hanging school gym partitions to expand the dance floor, opening up another large section which also filled up with only girls dancing.

I don't usually dance because I feel self conscious, but being in the middle of nowhere with people I'll never see again, i cut loose. And how could I not with those odds? Even my dreams don't go that well!

The whole situation just gave me the confidence of a lucid dream. Which made things a hell of a lot more fun!
