Posession Dream...confusion for me.
Let me begin by saying that I can never sleep on my left side of the bed again (stupid little phobia I have now, though it will probably pass).
Well this dream was...interesting...you could say. It was very short, hardly a couple of minutes.
I first see burning crosses...then I switch to view of something, a cross-like figure, which was also in decay and flames. However, when I try to look away, a red-colored filter mask grabs my eyes, and set the focal point on the image. I felt desperate and weak, etc., etc. I woke up confused and a little dazed, disoriented, more than usual, but not overly scared. Just worried about what had happened.
Needless to say, I said some heavy prayers before going back to bed...

Any comments? Think this is just my subconscious trying to confuse me for getting interested in some atheist ways (sounds stupid, but I've become a little obsessed with the nature of my subconscious, actually believe I can work it to my own advantage, though my success is based primarily on confidence)? Maybe I was just stressed out, or just drained mentally...I don't know. Discuss with me here people, I'm just interested.

Well, you could relate burning crosses and the red filter to religion and communism. Maybe you've been thinking about these things a lot recently? Or maybe you've been thinking about atheist stuff, like you said, and because of you being a Christian (I assume...), you've been subconciously worried about it.
Or, more simply, it could just be completely random and not really have much bearing on real life at all.

No jesus on the burning cross, fortunately. I would have taken the first open time-slot at the shrink's office if it was...
As for the communism thing, that may just be it. I simply assumed I was being controlled by supernatural forces (not for real, well you know what I mean). I didn't think of that before. After all, the subconscious usually works for the least obvious (for me at least).
I wouldn't really say I might become atheistic, maybe more agnostic, doubts about God, etc.
Maybe even those secular humanist sites I've been visting lately...
EDIT: I just remembered! There was some funky death-metal music everytime my eyes were controlled... now I'm also thinking this could be about me and my little jokes about death-metal music (it was pretty halirous between me and my friends-I would play chords on the guitar and start making lyrics from nothing [i.e., god is dead, bow down to lucifer; let the darkness consume us, in the name of the dark lord...etc.,], now that I look back it was pretty weird and stupid
).
